Aftermath Hate Crime Art Gallery Opens at CAIR-Chicago

On Tuesday, June 11th, CAIR-Chicago opened the Azima Center to the community for an art gallery featuring the work of graphic design student and CAIR-Chicago Communications Department intern, Jazmin Alvarado.

The gallery titled Aftermath, transforms the stories of victims of different hate crimes into art pieces and explains how hate impacts minority communities. Opening night was at 6PM on Tuesday, June 11. The art will be available for viewing until mid-October. You can view photos from opening night on our Flikr.
