CAIR-Chicago Congratulates IMAN and The Niagara Foundation!

Staff members from CAIR-Chicago attended the Niagara Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Gala last Thursday and IMAN’s Annual Fundraising Dinner on Saturday. IMAN’s vision to embody the Muslim tradition of facilitating change in urban communities, by inspiring others towards civic engagement and working to overcome the barriers of religion, ethnicity, and nationality is an inspiring example of the Islamic faith.

The hospitality of the Niagara Foundation is undeniable in their mission to foster conversation and lasting relationships between people of different cultures.

Both events reflected the vitality of Chicago’s strengthening interfaith and Muslim communities and were attended by guests of national note. CAIR-Chicago is proud to be in a city that so highly values cultural diversity and dialogue, and looks forward to Chicago’s rich future as a leader in intercultural cooperation.
