Want to help protect voting and civil rights this election season Looking for a non-partisan way to get more involved? Consider poll watching! Poll watchers ensure voters rights by observing the conduct of polling staff and volunteers.

For more information on poll watching in Chicago, click here.

Early voting in Illinois officially started on September 24th!

If you're voting in-person, Election Day polling hours are from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. Find your polling place here.

In Illinois, any voter can opt to vote by mail. The deadline for ballot requests to be received by your local election office is Thursday, October 29th, 2020, five days before Election Day.

Currently, USPS is predicting delays in mail delivery, so we at CAIR-Chicago suggest sending in your mail-in ballots no later than Friday, October 23rd. This means you need to request your ballot ASAP if you want to vote by mail.
